Chris Fleming has served as Pinnacle Pet's president and CEO since 2013. A passionate supporter of the human-animal bond and dedicated to doing the right thing for dogs in his care, Chris has a long history of working to connect pets with loving homes. Prior to joining Pinnacle Pet, Chris served as the general manager for MidAmerica Pet and worked for Tracey's K&J Pets.

A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Chris is president of Heartland Canines for Veterans, a nonprofit dedicated to providing service dogs to disabled vets, especially those suffering from PTSD.

Chris also is a leader in the pet industry involved with several member organizations such as PIJAC, Heartland Pet Breeders and the Farm Bureau.

His advice to those interested in pursuing a career in the pet industry is to stick to your morals and value those around you.

In his free time, Chris enjoys off-road driving, movies and reading. His favorite dog breed is a Doberman Pinscher, a breed that's proven to be consistently loyal to him and his family.

Chris lives is Neosho, MO with his wife Misty and their two teenage sons.
